Incorporating HK Company from anywhere
Incorporating a company in Hong Kong is famously quick and straightforward. Unlike many other jurisdictions, the entry barriers are low, and the process can often be completed online in just 1 to 3 business days.
To form a private limited company, you must fulfill these baseline structural roles:
-
Shareholders (Min. 1): Can be an individual or a corporate entity of any nationality. 100% foreign ownership is fully permitted.
-
Directors (Min. 1): Must be a natural person (at least one). They do not need to be a Hong Kong resident. The sole shareholder can also act as the director.
-
Company Secretary (Mandatory): Must be a Hong Kong resident or a licensed local corporate service provider (TCSP). If you are a sole director, you cannot act as your own secretary.
-
Registered Address: A physical, local Hong Kong street address is required for official government mail (P.O. Boxes are not allowed).
